Apply While I'm Pregnant?
I'm a reporter with a midsized daily newspaper. I've been ready to move on for about six months now and had just begun applying for new jobs when I found out that I am pregnant with my first child. I'm currently five months pregnant.

My husband and I are excited, but I'm wondering what this means for my job search. Should I continue looking for full-time employment, or should I wait until the baby arrives?
 
If I do score an interview, should I mention my pregnancy prior to arriving? Or should I wait until I've met my potential editors?

Congratulations to you and your husband!

Keep looking up until the time when you feel you can't interview, and then resume when you feel you are ready to interview again.

If you are invited for an interview say, "When I come to interview, you may notice that I'm pregnant. I hope that won't be a problem for anyone. I'm serious about this job and could start on such-and-such a
date."

Good luck with everything.
