Island Packet
In January, a sheriff asked editors of the Island Packet and Bluffton (SC) Today to help catch the person who was making threatening calls to a school by publishing a press release that stated the exact source of the telephone calls hadn't been determined. In fact, police did know where the calls were coming from. The editors refused to run the false information. A 23-year-old man
was arrested on Tuesday.
