Bob Woodruff and his co-anchor Elizabeth Vargas' importance to the future of ABC News is such that having them do dangerous duty, while serving as the faces of their network, is too big a risk, says David Bianculli. The critic asks: "Are viewers learning more from Woodruff or Vargas, reporting from the field as roving anchors, than they do from CBS war correspondent Lara Logan, delivering reports to Bob Schieffer back in the studio? No."
