Craig Newmark -- the man who is supposedly killing newspapers -- wants to get better informed about the presidential election. "Hence, subscribing to the Times," he says. More from Nat Ives' piece on the Times and publisher Arthur Sulzberger Jr.:
* "Whether you love or hate the Times, it plays a big part in setting the national agenda," writes Ives. "Its brand depends on maintaining that dynamic. Mr. Sulzberger is right to brag that its site is the most blogged-about news source in the country."
