Romenesko Letters On Thursday,
James Wolcott (left) wrote on his blog: "Leave it to
Bernard Goldberg to take the occasion of Russert's death as an opportunity to talk about himself," then went on the criticize the conservative press critic. The post is no longer on vanityfair.com. "Is Goldberg behind its disappearance?" asks
Ron Kampeas. "It'd be fun to know, considering Goldberg's endless preening on alleged media self-censorship and what he says is a lack of diversity of opinion." Anyone care to explain? ||
UPDATE: Goldberg writes to Kampeas: "I know nothing of the blog by James Wolcott and had nothing -- absolutely, 100% nothing -- to do with its removal."
