Brauchli
News Corp. execs had been discussing the possibility of Marcus Brauchli's departure as early as several months ago, reports the Journal. The execs felt they should give the managing editor more time to prove he could bring about faster the changes they wanted -- but some changes didn't come fast enough for them. In recent weeks, Brauchli complained he wasn't always in the loop about new ideas, and on Tuesday he resigned.
