Sunday's Express-News almost didn't include a Star magazine, and "that would have been a lump of coal in the Christmas stockings of readers who enjoy the Hollywood fluff, but -- perhaps -- a breath of pure oxygen to those who rightly view the tabloid as superficial and tacky, writes Bob Richter.
