Chicago Reader
The Tribune recently
took over home delivery of the Sun-Times, but many papers aren't getting to subscribers. "Overextended routes, lost drivers, missing sections, and missed deliveries have created consternation in both camps," writes
Michael Miner. "And at the Tribune, one shrewd business move collided with another -- the decision last year to outsource subscriber services to a call center in Manila." Operators there don't know enough English to deal with angry Chicagoans.
