Dan Rather claims the network violated his contract by giving him insufficient airtime on "60 Minutes" after forcing him to step down as anchor of the "CBS Evening News." He also contends that CBS committed fraud by commissioning a "biased" and incomplete probe of his flawed National Guard broadcast and "seriously damaged his reputation." His suit names CBS and CEO Les Moonves; Viacom and CEO Sumner Redstone; and former CBS News president Andrew Heyward.
