A judge ruled Tuesday that Star Tribune publisher
Par Ridder must step down from his job after being accused of wrongdoing by his former employer, the St. Paul Pioneer Press. (Ridder left the paper at 8:40 a.m., says a spokesman.) The ruling bars Ridder from his office for one year starting today.
Chris Harte, chairman of the Star Tribune, will be interim publisher. || Read
