Ed Gamble spent much of last week defending his cartoon cartoon showing a black gunman telling a little girl, "Now that's a good little ho." Gamble says his intent was "to help a community stop what is further plunging it into chaos." Ombud Wayne Ezell says some Times-Union critics have dredged up past T-U transgressions while commenting on the cartoon.
