Tallahassee Democrat | Miami Herald
The Tallahassee Democrat on Wednesday posted a Miami Herald story on the death of the Florida Senate president's son, which reported that the 29-year-old man had been with a 62-year-old male friend at a bar earlier in the evening. The story was then pulled, prompting "censorship" cries from some website visitors. Executive editor Bob Gabordi responded (tenth comment): "There were a couple of reasons, most important of which is that I was not comfortable with the sourcing in the story. That's my job and what I get paid to decide, and different newspapers have different standards on sourcing."
> MH: We named our source just before Gabordi posted his comment (MH)
