In videotaped testimony, former Pioneer Press publisher
Par Ridder said he told his new Star Tribune bosses "that I would do this differently," referring to loading up his laptop with confidential PiPress financial information and then distributing it to top Strib execs.
James Finkelstein, a partner at Strib owner Avista Capital Partners, testified that Ridder shouldn't have taken the information. "It was clearly a mistake," he said. || Related
