Chicago Tribune
The Chandlers, who have a 20% stake in Tribune, appear to be working with one or more of the private-equity firms that have shown interest in bidding for the company, reports Michael Oneal. He writes: "Sources close to the process said the Chandlers' seriousness about doing a deal for all or part of the company is impossible to gauge." Tribune has reportedly given presentations to seven private-equity firms.
