Anders Gyllenhaal (left) has been named Miami Herald executive editor, replacing
Tom Fiedler. Gyllenhaal tells his newsroom: “I want you to know this has been a very difficult decision that has kept me awake many nights. In the end, my family and I decided to take a kind of homecoming, returning to the place where Beverly and I met, where our children were born and where I had my journalistic upbringing." ||
