The Lowell Sun is giving
Congressman Marty Meehan a big 50th birthday kiss on December 27. In a special section, the paper will reflect on Meehan's life, local roots, and "the commitment to public service," says Sun publisher
Mark O'Neil. He says "a portion of the [advertising] proceeds will benefit the Marty Meehan Educational Foundation."
Steve Bailey writes: "Just how big a kickback -- I mean portion -- will go to Marty's fund the paper isn't saying."
