Tim O'Brien describes himself as a liberal whose fondest wish as the letters editor is for more conservatives to write in. "At least 75 percent of what I get is left of center," he tells Kate Parry. "My theory is that liberals have letters to the editor and conservatives have talk radio." O'Brien says he'd also like to see more Latino, Hmong and Arab voices on the Star Tribune letters page.
