Katharine Q. Seelye reports for the first six months of this year, the number of ad pages in Teen People was down more than 14%, compared with the first six months of last year. She writes: "Advertisers are increasingly chasing young people online, and teenagers tend to be more open to experimental (that is, nonprint) advertising in a way that older people are not." Teen People's website will stay online.
