resigned Wednesday as Lexington Herald-Leader editor to become Los Angeles Times national investigative editor, says family considerations figured heavily in the decision to change jobs. "I have really struggled with this decision because obviously I care about all of you," she told her staff. "It's a personal decision that fits with where my life is right now."
