Erik Wemple told Voice bosses this morning that he's decided to stay at Washington City Paper, where he's been editor since January 2002. A Voice memo says: "Although Wemple accepted the job of editor-in-chief of the historic Voice -- even introducing himself to the staff -- subsequent discussions revealed disagreements over newsroom management."
