Ron Burkle, Peter Ueberroth, and Eli Broad have said they'd like to buy the Los Angeles Times or see it in local hands, reports Joseph Menn. Publisher Jeff Johnson says the paper isn't for sale, but analyst John Morton tells Menn: "One has to assume that something is going to happen to [LAT owner] Tribune.
