Plain Dealer columnist Sam Fulwood (left) wrote last Thursday that Colin Powell "flamed out after his ego no longer allowed him to be an unquestioning spearchucker in Mr. Bush's war." Ted Diadiun says the word "sure stopped my spoonful of oatmeal in midair ... and I know I had a lot of company." He notes: "Sam called Colin Powell a spearchucker and created a ripple of unrest. If I had written the same thing -- not that I would -- it would have created a torrent of protest." More ombudsmen:
