Internet: The TV Channel for Community Broadcasters
Posted by Eva Dominguez 11:59 AM
We all know that the Internet is opening up possibilities for people and organizations that do not have access to the main distribution channels. But now these new opportunities are becoming more audiovisual and the Internet has become a new TV channel for alternative broadcasters, such as Pluralia.tv.

This is a new TV channel, created by the "social movement" of Valencia, an eastern region of Spain, as an alternative to official broadcasters. The promoters believe that college, citizen, and community TV must have its place in the media landscape. Since Pluralia cannot broadcast, it uses the Internet to reach its audience. "Another information is possible" is the motto of Pluralia.tv.
