The award-winning project is this Semana.com mini-site on war-displaced people living near Bogota.
On Jan. 25, two Colombian digital journalists -- Élber Gutiérrez Roa and Carlos Arango Ortiz from the Spanish-language magazine and news site Semana.com -- won a Rey de España (King of Spain) journalism prize. This is the first time this prestigious award has recognized online journalism.

The award-winning project is this multimedia mini-site covering war-displaced people living in poor neighborhoods surrounding Bogotá.

According to Semana.com, this mini-site is part of the strategy of the magazine's online strategy to use "all the tools of electronic journalism," from text to video.

The Rey de España prize is organized by Agencia EFE and the Spanish Cooperation Agency.
