Today, President Bush lifted a presidential moratorium on drilling for natural gas and oil on the Outer Continental Shelf. A moratorium that Congress enacted in the early 1980s still remains in place, so lifting the presidential moratorium will have little impact overall. Read more about the lifting of the moratorium
